Products

ECO STOR offers a range of first and second life battery storage. Customioffers a whole range of products from one-battery, second-life solutions for use after the meter to large, first-life container systems for use before the meter.

How we do it

At ECO STOR we guide you through the whole process from scoping of a project, dimensioning the battery solution to your needs, deciding whether a first- or second-life solution is the optimal choice for you, and building and installing the system on-site.

We are also your partner through the lifetime of the batterysolution, providing support and updating your system whenever needed, ensuring that you get the most from your investment.

What our systems can do for you

Battery systems are at the heart of everything, from storing energy from small-scale solar arrays on rooftops to frequency regulation of the power grid.

Residential Energy Storage

System setup and control is provided by
a simple App that enables the user to
operate the system in several different
modes:

  • GENERAL MODE - PV supplies load as a
priority, then charges the battery and
finally feeds surplus to the grid. If there
is insufficient PV, the batteries supply the
load. Battery and grid supply load
    together if demand exceeds battery
    power.
  • ENERGY STORAGE MODE - PV and
grid supply the load and charge battery
together. Battery SoC is maintained at
100%. If there is insufficient PV the grid
supplies the load and charges the
    battery.
  • PEAK & VALLEY MODE  Four sub modes can be configured based on Time of day. These can define the priority of the source that supplies the load. The stored battery energy or excess PV can be pushed to the grid when demand from the load is low.
  • MICRO GRID - PV supplies load as a
priority, then charges the battery with
excess energy. When PV is no longer
available the battery supplies the load.

Industrial Energy Storage

Designed for ‘behind the meter’ use in
business and industrial premises our
industrial energy storage systems take a
modular approach to simplify system
development.

Based around two electric
vehicle batteries, the basic building block
has a minimum of 40kWh of storage and
can deliver up to 30kW of power. Modules
can be connected to build larger systems in
the range of 40kWh to 500kWh.

The system incorporates an Energy
Management System (EMS) that can be
configured to meet your specific application
requirements and integration with your
Building Management System (BUMS).
Suitable for a wide range of storage
applications including peak shaving, grid
support, frequency regulation, electric
vehicle charging and increased utilization of
solar.

Grid Energy Storage

Intended for use in grid support application
our largest energy storage systems are
designed to be containerised.

Incorporating as many as 50 electric vehicle
batteries these systems can be configured
to provide a wide range of support services
to enable maximum return on investment.
The system incorporates advanced safety
and protection systems to ensure long term
reliability and is supplied with our Energy
Management System (EMS) that can be
configured to meet your specific application
and operational requirements.

Suitable for a wide range of grid
applications including energy trading, peak
shaving, voltage support, frequency
regulation, transmission & distribution
deferral in addition to energy arbitrage.
