What is the environment?

The environment encompasses everything around you and all other living organisms. All the places where humans, plants, and animals are found are referred to as the environment. This includes both the physical surroundings (such as sea and mountains), physical factors (temperature and humidity), and all living things on Earth (biotic factors). The term "environment" can also be used to describe social conditions within surroundings, such as work environment or social interactions.

Climate - that is, temperature, wind, and precipitation - is closely related to the environment, and vice versa. When the climate changes (weather and wind), it will have a significant impact on the environment. Similarly, the environment affects the climate through factors such as gas emissions, pollution, and overconsumption.
